How Betting Rounds Work in Teen Patti
Teen Patti uses a boot (forced starting bet) and then proceeds through betting rounds until only two players remain or all but one fold.
Start of the game:
- Every player at the table places the boot amount into the pot before cards are dealt. This is the minimum forced contribution that seeds the pot.
- Three cards are then dealt face-down to each player.
Betting flow:
- The player to the left of the dealer acts first.
- Play moves clockwise around the table.
- Each player either calls (matches the current bet), raises (increases the bet), or folds (surrenders their cards and exits the hand).
- The game continues until only two players are left or everyone folds except one.
Bet sizing rules:
- A seen player (one who has looked at their cards) must bet double what a blind player bets in that same round.
